YEAR 9 NEWS
Term 3 has started well for Year 9 as students returned from their holidays with renewed enthusiasm and ready to meet the term ahead. I would like to congratulate all of Year 9 for the way they have embraced the restrictions in place as a result of COVID-19. Students have had some significant changes to their timetables with a number of subjects changing. I remind them to update their diary to reflect the changes that have been made.
In the coming weeks students and parents will receive information about students' 100 hour elective choices for Year 10 2022. Students will be given time to make these choices and I ask that they take the time to consider the choices that best suit their interests rather than that of their peer group.
Year 9 Bushcraft students recently participated in a Rogaine. Rogaining is an orienteering sport of long distance cross-country navigation, involving both route planning and navigation between checkpoints using a variety of map types.
All students enjoyed the experience and feedback from staff on the day was extremely positive. I congratulate all students who participated in this event

What is your favourite memory of Year 9 so far?
What area do you want to improve in for Semester 2 and why?
I look forward to seeing Year 9 achieve these goals they have set for themselves.
