YEAR 10 WORK EXPERIENCE

All of Year 10 will undertake work experience during Term 4 Week 9, Monday 29 November - Friday 3 December. During extended PALS this week they went through the process of considering their work experience options, the paperwork that will be required and the due date of this paperwork being Monday 8 November. It is the student’s responsibility to organise their own. This responsibility teaches them what it is like to apply for a real job, dealing with people and facing rejection. PALS teachers and Mrs Hill are happy to assist with work experience placements. 

YEAR 12

SCHOLARSHIPS

Year 12 students are encouraged to apply for as many scholarships as they are eligible for. Scholarships are available to all school leavers. They can be awarded for students from rural areas, families in financial hardship, sporting, academics, having a passion for a particular industry and many other reasons.

EARLY ADMISSION FOR UNIVERSITY

UOW early admissions are now open, closing on Friday 13th August. Applying for UOW early admission is an automatic application for the Illawarra Principal’s Recommendation Scholarship, one student from SJE will receive this scholarship.
