Learning Support has morphed into Remote Learning like us all. Our interventions - MacqLit, Expressive Writing and Secret Agent Society are continuing and our SSO's are providing constant support to the students in their regular timetabled classes. Zoom is amazing!
Our MC Teachers are finding innovative and engaging learning experiences and platforms to support their students. All of our Learning Support Teachers are working with staff and parents to support our students during remote learning, which we know can be challenging for some students and their families.
Just as a reminder, if your child is on a Learning Plan, you would have received an email with a google survey to review the Personalised Plan. There is also an option to speak/meet with Case Managers. If you are needing support - please reach out to your Case Managers or Ruth Fox through the school office.
FOOD TECHNOLOGY
SINGLE USE PLASTIC AWARENESS
This week our Jnr MC class learnt about single use plastic. The class viewed BTN Plastic Free Produce & discussed potential solutions businesses are implementing to reduce landfill & how they too can reduce plastic use.
Students did a quick ‘recycling bin audit’ and used some of these materials to design an artwork for the ‘Conservation of the Oceans’ School Competition.
