On Tuesday night, I delivered a presentation exploring the new Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong’s Social Media Policy and explored wonderful things being done with Social Media as well as some of the areas of concern and associated implications on students as well as parents. A big thank you to those parents who braved the cold and attended on the night, I hope you took something away with you and were able to engage in conversations with your son/daughter or person in your care about the great benefits of social media as an educational tool, but also to educate them about their responsible use of such platforms both in and out of school. For those parents who were unable to attend the night but are interested in accessing the information, I have attached the presentation that was delivered and welcome any questions.
