ASSORTED NEWS

DIOCESAN TENNIS

On Monday 14 February, eight students from Years 8 & 9 represented our school at the Wollongong Diocese Tennis Championships, held at Beaton Park Wollongong.
Our students played really well, won plenty of points and a few sets too. Best of all was their sportsmanship and enjoyment of the game and willingness to get all involved with the fun. A great day for all!
Thank you to Miss Ashleigh Boreland for managing our teams and a big congratulations to the following students;

The Sydney Week of Golf is the longest junior golf tournament in Australia, with over 150 golfers contesting five different courses over five days and 90 holes.

Sienna saved her best round of the week for last with a bogey free two under par 70 to win the Girls Division by three shots. Clarke started with 14 straight pars, before picking up birdies on the 15th and 17th hole to seal the deal.

Sienna felt her highlight was definitely the last round shooting 2 under par and bogey free.

Congratulations Sienna!
