CROSS COUNTRY

After an earlier postponement, our annual Cross Country Carnival was finally held on Wednesday 27 April.  The weather put on a good show for Year 7 & 8 in the morning however the rain didn’t hold off long enough for the Year 9-12 competitors in the afternoon and it was a tad bit muddy and slippery on the course, but the kids still had a great time and didn’t seem to mind.

The P&F would like to acknowledge the following parent helpers for their contributions in helping make the carnival run like clockwork:

 NEXT P&F MEETING

The committee are excited to be back to holding on-site meetings and returning to assisting with carnivals and working bees. Our next P&F General Meeting will be held at 6pm on Monday 16 May.  All parent/carers/grandparents are most welcome to attend, this is the ideal opportunity to have a say in how the P&F will contribute to the school community in 2022.  Come along for a cuppa and say hi, we would love to see you all there.

WORKING BEE

Working Bees provide great opportunities to engage with the school community and be involved in activities that improve the school environment for our students; importantly it is a great way to meet other families. Owing to the success of the last working bee held in the afternoon during the week (rather than on a Saturday morning) another Working Bee has been planned for Wednesday 18 May at 3pm. We are looking forward to seeing as many helpers as possible for another successful afternoon!
