NEWS FROM OUR ACTION GROUPS

PAX MOVIE NIGHT FOR SAHSSI

We are continuing to collect donations for the SAHSSI (Supported Accomodation and Homelessness Services Shoalhaven Illawarra) organisation to assist homeless women and children to maintain their dignity and hygiene. Students may bring in items to donate before Week 7.

In addition to our appeal for donation of items, our PAX group have organised a movie night for St John's students to attend with proceeds also used to purchase essential care items for the care packs.

Movie night tickets and parental permission must be provided online through the Compass parent portal, prior to the event. Students who have not paid via Compass and parental consent will not be allowed to enter.

Students may bring a cushion and wear comfy warm clothes. Snacks and Drinks will be available for purchase on the night - CASH only.

We look forward to seeing students support our PAX appeal!

HELPING THE RECENT FLOOD VICTIMS

Last term, students in our Johnnies Action Group (JAG) organised a mufti day and bake sale, raising $2,000.00 which was sent to sent to St Vincent de Paul, Flood Relief Appeal to help those affected by the recent floods.

Students also collected messages of hope and support from students and staff and collated into the following video to be shared with schools in the affected areas.

JAG meet in the K3/4 rooms each fortnight during lunch on Friday (A week). All students are welcome to come along!
