NEWS FROM REP SPORT

HANNAH KICKING GOALS!

Recently, another of our talented athletes represented at State level, with Hannah Phillips of Year 8 representing the NSW CCC AFL team at the NSW Allschools Championships in a very cold and wet Albury.
Hannah’s team played 4 games over 2 days, finishing the state tournament as Runner’s up on count back. Congratulations Hannah!

NSW CCC CROSS COUNTRY

On Tuesday 7 June, six of our talented athletes ventured to Eastern Creek Motorpark to compete at the NSW CCC Cross Country Championships. This event includes the best distance runners from all Catholic Secondary Schools in New South Wales.
Bridget Fairs, Nicholas McGill, Lucas Johnson, Darcy Davis, Mia Monkerud and Lizzie Davis each did us proud racing in cool and windy conditions.
Special mention to Bridget and Nicholas, each finishing their event in second place to claim the silver medal!

NSW ALL SCHOOLS STATE SWIMMING

Following success at the NSW CCC Swimming Championships, Talika Irvine (Year 10) and Oskar Driscoll (Year 7) went on to represent at the NSW AllSchools State Swimming Championships on Friday 3 June, competing against swimmers from all Catholic, Independent and Public Schools in the state.

Talika and Oskar did us proud, achieving the following outstanding results;

AFL NAIL BITER

Our Under 15 Girls AFL team played a very closed game against Ulladulla last Friday 10 June, with Goals to Hannah Phillips, Ella Mansfield & Anya Ellerington.

Special mention to the players of the day, Hannah Phillips, Ella Mansfield, Mia Stevens, Sarelle Perkins, Olivia Bugg and Grace Stevens.
The match ended in a narrow defeat, with Ulladulla kicking 4 goals & 1 behind (25) to Johnnie’s 3 goals & 5 behinds (23). Great work girls!
