HSC TRIAL EXAMS

Congratulations to all Year 12 students for successfully sitting their Trial HSC exams.
Multiple staff commented on the mature and professional manner in which students
conducted themselves for these exams. Good luck to students as they use feedback from their trial results to further improve and prepare for their HSC exams in October & November. Regular classes for Year 12 will resume this coming Monday, 15 August.

AFTER SCHOOL STUDY HUBS

A reminder to Year 12 that the Monday afternoon Study Hubs will recommence Monday 22 August (Week 6). It has been pleasing to see so many students attend the study hubs leading up to the trial exams. Students have been able to utilise the assistance of some amazing HSC teachers, along with the support of their peers through collaborative study.

Study hubs will remain for Weeks 7 & 8 of Term 3 and all Year 12 students are invited to attend.

YEAR 12 GRADUATION EVENTS

● Final Week of Term 3

Detailed below are the upcoming date for Year 12 in their final week of Term 3.
Events during these weeks include the Year 12 Breakfast and Graduation rehearsal
on Tuesday 20 September, followed by the Liturgy and Awards night also on Tuesday 20 September. On Wednesday 21 September will be the Year 12 Graduation Assembly held during school hours. Parents and carers will be invited to attend the Graduation Liturgy and Assembly. A more formal and detailed invitation of these events will be sent to families.

Students are reminded of the importance of appropriate behaviour and presentation
in the lead up to and during these special events.

● Graduation Dinner

The Year 12 Graduation Dinner will be held for Year 12 students and staff on
Thursday 17 November 2022 at the St John’s Hall. In the coming weeks, students will be able to purchase tickets for the Graduation Dinner via Compass events.

● George Broome - Sailing
George has just returned from his stint sailing in the Noakes Sydney to Gold Coast
Yacht Race where his team finished in First Place! A massive effort, congratulations
George!
● Kirra Dale - Surf Lifesaving
Kirra has recently competed at the Australian Pool Rescue Championships on the
Gold Coast, an outstanding display of talent and perseverance.
● Joshua Ludman - Cycling
Josh has just returned from the Junior Tour of Cycling event and finished in a
remarkable 8th position!
● Melanie Staunton - Surfing & AFL
Mel has just set off to compete at the Australian Surf Championships at Port
Macquarie. Good luck Mel! Mel has also had recent involvement this year as a
member of the AFLW Futures team.

Presentation.

Week 8:
- Monday 5/9: After school Study Hubs.

Week 9:
