CHANGES TO BUS SERVICES

We have been advised that a new bus network for the Greater Nowra area will commence on Monday 29 August 2022 which will improve customer journeys across the region and provide better connections to train services at Bomaderry station.  Bus services will operate more frequently with over 250 additional services each week, they will start earlier in the day and run later.

As a result of the new bus network for Greater Nowra, there will be some changes to selected school bus routes across the region from Monday 29 August 2022. We have been informed that the bus service below will be affected with all other St John's school bus services continuing to operated as normal.

Students who use regular public route bus services should check their new journey options by going to transportnsw.info and using the trip planner or downloading the new regular route bus timetables.

YEAR 11 LEADERSHIP DAY

On Thursday during Week 5, Year 11 spent the day preparing for the leadership nomination and selection process, participating in activities that assisted them in understanding what their role as a leader in the school is, do they see themselves as a leader within the school and how can they, as a school leader, model the school values and their year motto.
All students engaged in the activities in a positive way and it was evident that this year group has many shining leaders. Well done Year 11 on a great day.

YEAR 11 LEADERSHIP PANEL & VOTING

43 Year 11 students nominated themselves for leadership for 2023. An important part of the process was the Leadership Panel. Students were required to answer a question asked by a member of a panel of 6 staff members including the school executive and other leaders.
The students spoke in front of the year group answering their specific question.
We would like to congratulate all students on the wonderful job they did and how they presented themselves throughout the whole process.
