YEAR 10 NEWS
Welcome back to school to all of our Year 10 students and their families.
My name is Nick Garner and I am the new Year Coordinator for this year and I look forward to working with the students over the coming year.
Thank you to all the year 10 students for a wonderful start to 2023. It is great to see the students stepping up into senior school and I encourage all students to look for ways in which they can involve themselves in activities outside the classroom. It has been a busy start to the year with a number of events outlined below.
- RoSA information evening - Thank you to all the students and parents who attended the information evening. As explained on the evening, assessment procedures have changed and expectation of the students has increased.
- Peer Support – Thankyou to all the students involved in the peer support. All reports indicate that students were exceptional. Great to see such quality leadership in the year group.
- Year 7 cdamp - Congratulations to all of our bushcraft students who led the activities at Year 7 camp.
- Swimming Carnival - Thank you to all the students who made this a fun day out.
- Representative sport - Number of activities including soccer, touch football and triathlon.
- Class excursions - Many subjects are running excursions including Bushcraft, Marine Studies and Dance.
