NSW STATE ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Nicholas McGill of Year 10 competed at the NSW State Athletics Championships from 25 to 27 February 2023.
He is now the NSW State Champion for the Under 16 2000m Steeple Chase and looking forward to heading to the Nationals in Brisbane in April.
He also competed in the 3000m coming 5th in the State and smashing out a 2 sec PB. In the 1500m he came 8th.
A huge weekend with a big schedule but he rose to the challenge and has certainly come away with more knowledge and more drive for his next competition.
YEAR 10 BUSHCRAFT TRIP - SHOALHAVEN GORGE
YEAR 10 DANCE
Year 10 Dance is implementing a dance program at St.Michael's primary school. Students have been learning about how to correctly structure a dance class, the benefits of warm-up, injury prevention and putting it into practice teaching small groups over the next 2 weeks. Well done!
YEAR 10 FOOD TECH
Our Year 10 Food Tech Students were cooking up a storm in their practical lesson last week. Look at the delicious Chicken Involtini with Sweet Potato Mash the students prepared and presented.
YEAR 11 HOSPITALITY
Year 11 Hospitality students had their first practical lesson which involved precision cutting and preparing stock. The students were all very keen and participated with enthusiasm.
YEAR 12 HOSPITALITY
Year 12 Hospitality students prepared the most delicious profiteroles last week which our principal Mr Marshall and visiting CEO delegates thoroughly enjoyed for their afternoon tea.
