On Tuesday 28 February, Hospitality students saw the Summer out with a fantastic day in the Nowra business district. Students were hosted by Old Salt Distillery, The Bearded Brewer, Ponte and Bundanon. From front of house managers, master bread makers, coffee roasters, executive chefs, bar tenders and event managers; students had the privilege to listen to their personal stories, including the struggles and successes achieved in this dynamic industry.
Applications to work with the Shoalhaven Food Network Industry during the May/June Food Festival will open shortly.

White Card Training - Monday 3 April
The White Card is an essential requirement for any student looking to gain valuable work experience in the Construction industry. Accelerated Training’s experienced instructors, will deliver the training at SJE and will ensure every student is well-prepared for the workplace and ready to embark on their career pathway. There are only 20 spots available.

Rural Fire Service Training Opportunity
Regional Development Australia Far South Coast and the NSW Rural Fire Service are delivering the South Coast Youth Volunteer program in 2023. The program will be a 3-day practical training workshop delivered in 3 consecutive days for up to 20 students from SJE; June 1, 2 & 5 in South Nowra. All transport will be provided.
The qualification and experience will be highly beneficial for anyone seeking a pathway in emergency services.
Additional information will be provided via the Careers Classroom.
