REPRESENTATIVE SPORT

DIOCESE TOUCH FOOTBALL 2023

On Thursday 9 March, the 2023 Boys Touch Championships were held at Dalton Park, Fairy Meadow.

The SJE U13's Boys Touch Football team had an outstanding campaign achieving outright 1st in the competition after successfully putting together an undefeated run on the day. The team not only combined flawlessly in attack but their communication and willingness to work together saw a defensive system which only conceded 1 try the entire tournament. The boys should also be commended on their sportsmanship and the respect shown towards the opposition which was acknowledged by many schools throughout the day.

The U15's Boys was a tight competition with close scores and overall results being decided by a single try across the day which resulted in our boys ending up narrowly missing out and finishing 3rd for the tournament.

The Opens Boy's played well and finished up in 7th place overall against tough competition.

NSWCCC TOUCH FOOTBALL -WOLLONGONG DIOCESE REPRESENTATIVE

Congratulations to Max Marshall who has been selected to represent Wollongong at the NSWCCC Touch Championships and selection trial in the Under 15's boy's to be held in Wagga Wagga in April.

DIOCESE SWIMMING CARNIVAL 2023

On March 10 2023 the Wollongong Diocese Swimming Carnival was held at Corrimal Pool. Our strong swimming team gave their best resulting in great results. The competitors are to be commended on the team spirit they all displayed on the day!

Please note this is for individual pathways, any team events, students will be selected through Wollongong trials and events and students will ONLY need to register on CSNSW Sport website if they are held at these events.
