VIETNAM VETERAN VISIT
In Week 11, the Junior MC Students invited a Vietnam Veteran Mr. Blundell to talk about his experiences during the War. This was a cross curricular connection with both outcomes in the English curriculum and History. The students were well prepared and asked the Senior MC class to be an audience so they could have an interactive survey at the end of the interview. The concepts covered were based around 'Conscription'. The students were asked to verbally construct an argument around opinions on this topic. Mr. Blundell not only gave great information around the Vietnam War, he also was a great assistance in the debate. Both MC classes would like to thank Mr. Blundell for his time and of course for his service to our country.
