On Wednesday 5 April the official commissioning of the 'Welcoming Poles' was held. St John's would like to thank the community members that were present especially Aunty Christine George who joined our principal Mr Wayne Marshall in the cutting of the ribbon. The whole school community would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to Aunty Kerrie Williams, the artist who created and painted the poles that not only look beautiful but make us aware of our indigenous history and culture.
