YEAR 9 - NATARSHA, JASMINE AND SAMANTHA - SHOALHAVEN NETBALL REPRESENTATIVES
Congratulations to Natarsha Mandavy, Jasmine Edwards and Sam McLaughlin who went to Newcastle last weekend to represent the Shoalhaven at the Hart Senior State Titles. The team played 17 games of netball over the 3 days and finished 10th in the state.
YEAR 9 GEOGRAPHY - MINNAMURRA RAINFOREST
On Wednesday 7 June, Year 9 Geography students visited Minnamurra rainforest today. They had a great day exploring the rainforest. They learned about Biomes and rainforest management and got to do some fieldwork.

YEAR 9 HISTORY - ANZAC MEMORIAL
On Wednesday 7 June, Year 9 History students travelled to the ANZAC memorial in Hyde Park, Sydney to study the historical significance of World War 1 and World War 2 and Australia's involvement in both wars.





YEAR 10 GEOGRAPHY - BEN'S WALK
Year 10 Geography students had a wonderful day at Bens Walk yesterday, undertaking some fieldwork to learn about our local area. The weather was fantastic and the students represented the school well.




YEAR 10 UOW FUTURE FINDER DAY
On Tuesday 6 June St John's students attended the Year 10 Future Finder Program which is an initiative of the University of Wollongong (UOW) Shoalhaven Campus in partnership with TAFE NSW, UOW College and UOW student ambassadors. Students were involved in presentations and workshops around senior subject selections and more importantly the broad range of post-school pathways available to them. Key speakers highlighted the skills and individual qualities employers are looking for and strategies to acquire the jobs young people are aspiring to.
