✨UNSW Healthcare Workshop! ? Year 9-11 students were eager to explore the world of healthcare during the session on Monday, July 26. A very talented group of students studying medicine, psychology, and exercise physiology shared valuable insights into the admission process and answered many burning questions. The event's highlights were the individual conversations about the industry and the hands-on clinical skills workshop, where participants got to use stethoscopes and learn basic first aid. It was a day filled with inspiration, learning, and very wise advice about UCAT preparation.

In addition, all students were given the information and tools to build an understanding of career paths, scholarship application processes, accommodation in the city, support networks, and of course the very busy social life further study offers. All in all, a highly informative event!

JMC Song Writing Competition 2023

Closes 27 August

We invite participants to submit a demo of an original song (that they’ve written individually or as a team) and the lyrics to the song in written form (i.e. your lyrics written out in a word document). JMC Academy is proud to announce the 2023 songwriting competition for students across New South Wales, ACT, Victoria and Queensland in years 9-12. The aim of the competition is to highlight the talent of high-school songwriters from across the country and to showcase the creativity of young people.   The demo can simply be recorded on your phone (we just want to hear the song performed!) and only include the vocals however instrumental accompaniment is encouraged. You’re welcome to record the demo in other ways too if you have the means.
