FROM THE CURRICULUM OFFICE
ICAS Assessments
The ICAS Assessments series is designed to assess students' ability to apply classroom learning in new contexts, using higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills. This year, ICAS Assessments are being conducted online. St John’s will be offering ICAS Assessments in Science, Mathematics, English and Digital Technologies. If your child wishes to participate in these assessments they should obtain a note from the curriculum office. Participation is $14.50 per student per test.
Specific preparation for ICAS tests is not required as the assessments are skills-based. However, to support you and your child UNSW Global have created a suite of practice materials which can be viewed at https://www.unswglobal.unsw.edu.au/educational-assessments/products/icas-assessments/
