As Year 12 finishes the trial exams I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the students for their commitment to the trials and for their positive approach and participation in the whole process. The exam conveners, Ms Bryce and Mrs Frank have mentioned on more than one occasion over the past two weeks how amazing Year 12 have been and how impressed they are with their maturity and the way they have conducted themselves for these exams. Teachers, parents and carers should be extremely proud of them. Good luck to students as they use feedback from their trial results to further improve and prepare for their HSC exams in October and November. Regular classes for Year 12 will resume this coming Monday, 14 August.

STUDY HUB

A reminder to Year 12 that the Monday afternoon Study Hubs will recommence Monday 21 August (Week 6). It has been pleasing to see students attend the study hubs leading up to the trial exams. Students have been able to utilise the assistance of some amazing HSC teachers, along with the support of their peers through collaborative study. Study hubs will remain for Weeks 7 & 8 of Term 3 and all Year 12 students are invited to attend.

SIENNA CLARKE - 2023 PEARL JUNIOR OPEN HAWAII

Sienna Clarke has just returned from competing in Hawaii where she was selected along with 3 other female golfers to represent Australia on behalf of Jack Newton Junior Golf in the 2023 Pearl Junior Open presented by the Oahu Junior Golf Association. Sienna finished 7th in the girls division. Congratulations Sienna, a wonderful achievement.

GRADUATION DINNER

The Year 12 Graduation Dinner will be held for Year 12 students and staff on
Thursday 8 November 2023 at Figbird Cottage Terera. In the coming weeks, students will be able to purchase tickets for the Graduation Dinner via Compass events.

FINAL WEEK OF TERM 3

A reminder to check the email sent to Year 12 families with all the information for the end of term and graduation. This email has important details that need to be addressed to ensure the smooth running of all events.

Detailed below are the upcoming dates for Year 12 in their final week of Term 3.
Events during these weeks include the Year 12 Breakfast and Graduation rehearsal
on Tuesday 19 September, followed by the Liturgy and Awards night also on Tuesday 19 September. On Wednesday 20 September will be the Year 12 Graduation Assembly held during school hours. 

Parents and carers will be invited to attend the Graduation Liturgy and Assembly. A more formal and detailed invitation of these events will be sent to families. Students are reminded of the importance of appropriate behaviour and presentation in the lead up to and during these special events.
