YEAR 10 NEWS

Year 10 do have a number of assessments that are due at this time in the term. I remind them of the requirements of ROSA and ensure that they organise and plan their time accordingly to ensure that they get their tasks in on time. If there are any issues they can speak to their teacher, PALS teacher or the curriculum office.
PAUL DILLON
Students had a fantastic opportunity to engage with drug and alcohol expert Paul Dillon. This talk was part of our school’s pastoral program and aimed to educate students in drug and alcohol related issues and harm minimisation techniques. This talk hopefully allows students to make informed decisions as they move into young adulthood. I congratulate the students on how they engaged with this presentation.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Students should be well on their way in the organisation of work experience which is happening in term 4 week 9 (4th to 8th of December). Students will need to contact employers to secure their spot for the week. Students would have their resume ready and present themselves in person to their potential employer. If anybody is having difficulties in arranging their work experience they are asked to meet with Mrs Arenas or Mr garner to discuss potential options.
