YEAR10 NEWS
Term Four has gotten off to a busy start for our Year 10 students as they head towards their final weeks of schooling before stepping into the senior preliminary course.
CHILD STUDIES
This term Year 10 Child Studies classes have been exploring the topic of 'Health and Safety in Childhood'. They have completed various research tasks on how to prevent and treat common childhood illnesses and accidents, and responded to common childhood first aid scenarios, such as choking. In this week's lesson, students engaged in a practical task, learning the correct techniques to perform CPR on infants, young children and young adults, as well as how to perform first aid in a choking situation. Well done to our Child Studies students on their engagement throughout this unit.
DRAMA
Year 10 Drama students have been challenging themselves creatively through their involvement in the E.A.T theater taking on roles not only as performers, but in costume, set and lighting design as well as working backstage. Congratulations to these students and the CAPA team.
