As the year winds down for the majority of students for Year 11 it is really speeding up. Students have embraced the first term of Year 12 with such maturity and enthusiasm and I congratulate them on this. As they move to the end of term students have a lot of assessment tasks coming in. I remind students of the assessment policy and the misadventure process. Please if there are any issues ask students to speak to myself or the curriculum office. Also a reminder to students to use the holidays coming up wisley. Remember to have some fun but also use this as a time to ensure that they are up to date with their work and their study notes.

The highlight of this term and I am sure their last year of high school was senior retreat that took place in Week 2 of this term. Students were a credit to their families and the way that they engaged in the activities and the opportunities presented to them at retreat was amazing. The time together clearly bonded them as a year group and set the foundations for the final year ahead. I encourage students to continue to use what they learnt at retreat and also encourage them to continue to seek the opportunities of togetherness as a year group.
