REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE
Hugh Vaughan and Beau McKenzie represented St John's last Saturday 11 November at the Sussex Inlet RSL sub-Branch, Remembrance Day Service, honouring Australian men and women who have served and died so that we may live in freedom and peace.
This significant day commemorates the Armistice of World War 1 with the unconditional surrender of the German forces to the Allies at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 after four years of bloody conflict.

KOOKABURRA KIDS ACTIVITY - DEFENCE YOUNG PEOPLE
HUSKISSON WATER SPORTS EVENT - 8 TO 18 YEARS WELCOME
The Defence People Group Department of Defence have an activity day coming up on December 9 for Shoalhaven/Nowra Defence young people. The group have a number of spots available for both current Kookaburra Kids, and any new young people that may benefit from the program.
KAYAKING & PADDLE BOARDING ADVENTURE @ HUSKISSON
What: Spend the morning by the water, and participate in a facilitated kayaking, paddle boarding and beach games program led by the trained instructors at Jervis Bay Kayak & PaddleSports Co. Alongside, a fun activity that is incorporated into our newly designed mental health education, to encourage our young people to thrive.
When: Saturday 9th December from 10am to 1pm
Where: Shark Net Beach near Hawke St, Huskisson 2540
Who: Free for any young people aged between 8 to 18 from Defence and Veteran families.
