YEAR 10 OP SHOP ANNUAL BALL
Our Year 10 students have been engaging in their transition to HSC week activities which culminated in the traditional Vinnies Op Shop Ball. The students looked terrific and had a wonderful time.
SENIOR MC CLASS - COOKING CHRISMTMAS PARTY FOOD
On Monday 4 December the Senior MC Class made and cooked food for their Christmas party which they thoroughly enjoyed.
NIC McGILL YEAR 10 - AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION
Congratulations to Nicholas McGill of Year 10 who won gold at the Allschools Championships in Perth last week and is now the U16 2000m Steeplechase Australian Allschools Champion. He ran a brilliant 15 sec PB with a time of 5.55.38 (just 0.0.32 of a 21 year Record!). Nic has worked tirelessly towards this event and it's so wonderful to see his hard work pay off for him.
Good luck for the National Championships next April in Adelaide!
JONATHAN MCGREGOR YEAR 7 - MOTOCROSS CHAMPION
Jonathan is a St John's Year 7 student who competes in the sport of Motocross at State and National level.
In 2023 Jonathan represented Nowra New South Wales for the Victorian Motocross state titles and Gippsland Regional titles. Jonathan also travelled to South Australia for the South Australian Motocross State titles.
In the Victorian State titles, 12 to U14 85cc category over a four round series Jonathan finished 5th overall in the state.
In the Gippsland Victoria region, 12 to U14 85cc category over a seven round series, Jonathan won several races, a number of podiums and finished 3rd overall in the state.
Jonathan also travelled to South Australia for the South Australian Motocross State Titles for two rounds where he finished 7th and 10th respectively.
In New South Wales, Jonathan competed in the Far South Coast club championship in Bega, also winning multiple rounds over a five round series finishing 3rd overall.
Jonathan's achievements have been well recognised by Motocross Victoria and New South Wales as one of the states top junior riders for the South Coast region.

Congratulations to Aurora Boatswain for being recognised for by the St Vincent de Paul Society for her generosity throughout the year in making Christmas a happy time for others.
