FOOTPRINTS ON COUNTRY - GOOROON END OF YEAR CELEBRATIONS
On Friday 1st of December, we invited our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to attend an end of year celebration with Gooroon at Greenfields Beach, Vincentia.
On arrival we played on the beach, soccer, touch football and sandcastles. Lunch was provided and in the afternoon we followed Uncle Archie on a Bush Tucker bushwalk. Just before we headed home we went for one more walk on the beach and paddled our feet in the cool refreshing waters.
This was a wonderful opportunity to spend time on our amazing Country and to build the connection between our wonderful AEA's that work tirelessly to ensure support and guidance and our students that bring us many joys and successes throughout their educational journey.
We wish all our students and their families a wonderful time over the festive season.
SCHOOL UNIFORM DONATIONS
As we approach the end of the school year we would like you to consider donating any outgrown or unwanted uniforms (sport/formal - summer/winter - Junior and Senior) for our clothing pool.
All donations would be greatly appreciated as there is always a need.
The generosity from St John's families who have already donated uniforms has been amazing, we can not thank you enough.
Many thanks
Ms Angelina Ramognini
