ANZAC MARCHES 2024

ANZAC Day falls on Thursday, the second week of the holidays.

Could all students please ensure their name is on the sign-in sheet in the student foyer at school?

The marches will take place at the following locations:

Berry March at 10:15 am
Callala March at 9:50 am

ST JOHN'S ANZAC DAY CEREMONY INVITE

We are delighted to invite you to St John the Evangelist Catholic High School ANZAC Day Ceremony which will be held on Thursday 2nd May at 10.00 am.

Please arrive fifteen minutes earlier to be seated.

2023 Dawn Service St Michaels and St Johns

LEN SEYFFER 1924-2023

Len John Seyffer was involved in many assets of the St Johns and St Michaels community; this year, he would have been 100 years old. He will be sadly missed, as it will be his first anniversary since his death on April 24th, 2023.

Len was one of nature's gentlemen. He was highly regarded by all he met. His work within the local community was outstanding. The finest example of a man who ‘looked after his mates’.

St Michaels Primary School has entered a National ANZAC Day Competition, and Ray Pearson and Darryl Keely, who have known Len for a long time, came to talk to the Year 6 students at St Michaels last week. Ray spoke about the Lone Pine tree he and Len planted here at St John's in 2012 with Principal Neil Mc Cann. So he decided to visit St John's to visit the tree as it had been a while since he had seen it.

The Shoalhaven Defence Families Association was lucky enough to get a new home recolated next to the Fleet Arm Museum. I was fortunate enough to attend the opening last Thursday.

Shoalhaven Defence Family Association has supported local families for over 50 years and is a vital network that connects and supports local families.
