NAIDOC CELEBRATIONS
NAIDOC Week is based around celebrating our First Nations people as well as bringing into focus important topics surrounding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The theme chosen for this year by the National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) is “Voice, Treaty and Truth”. NAIDOC Week commences on Sunday 7 July and concludes on Sunday 14 July.
At St John’s we will be marking this important time with a special assembly on Monday 1st July.
