Today was an udderly amazing day for our Year 8 Food and Agriculture students at St Johns! Our students embarked on an exciting mobile dairy incursion, exploring the fascinating world of dairy farming and technology as part of their Technology Mandatory subject. It was a moo-velous opportunity for them to gain hands-on experience and learn about the entire dairy production process.

Under the warm sun, our students got to witness the incredible journey of milk from cow to carton. They observed the daily routines of a dairy farm, interacted with friendly cows, and even had the chance to try their hand at milking!

Students learned about the latest advancements in dairy technology, such as automated milking machines and computerised feeding systems. They were amazed by how technology has revolutionised the industry, making dairy farming more efficient and sustainable.

This mobile dairy incursion not only broadened our students' knowledge of agriculture and food production but also highlighted the importance of sustainable farming practices and the role of technology in meeting the world's growing food demands. It was a dairy-licious adventure that will leave a lasting impression on our young aspiring farmers!
