As the year winds down for most students, it’s a different story for Year 11, who are experiencing a fast-paced start to their final year of high school. Our new Year 12 students have embraced this first term with great maturity and enthusiasm, and I commend them for their efforts. As the term draws to a close, many assessment tasks are due, so I’d like to remind students about the assessment policy and the misadventure process. With the holidays approaching, I encourage students to use their time wisely. It’s important to strike a balance between fun and relaxation while ensuring they stay up to date with their work and study notes.

A highlight of this term and likely one of the standout experiences of their final year was the Senior Retreat held in Week 2. The students represented their families with pride, fully engaging with the activities and opportunities provided. This experience not only strengthened their bonds as a year group but also laid the foundation for their final year together. I urge students to carry forward the lessons and insights gained during the retreat and to continue embracing opportunities to foster unity and connection as a cohort.
