2025 LIONS YOUTH OF THE YEAR PROGRAM
Jervis Bay Lions Club is seeking students who live in the Bay & Basin, Falls Creek, Tomerong, Wandandian area who may be interested in participating in the 2025 Lions Australia Youth of the Year Program.
The program is open to students who must be at least 15 years of age by 30 June and under the age of 19.
Jervis Bay Lions Club will be conducting the first stage of the YOTY program on Thursday 6 Feb with entrants judged on the results from an interview, answers to impromptu questions and a 5 minute prepared speech.
The overall winner and the winner of the public speaking section have the opportunity to proceed to the District Final at Canberra on 22 March and if successful then proceed to the State Final on 6 April followed by the National Final at Melbourne on 5 May.
Prizes are awarded at each level.
