YEAR 10 ABORIGINAL STUDIES
On Thursday 27th of February, the year 10 Aboriginal Studies class spent our double lesson listening and learning from Aunty Chris about weaving. Weaving is a traditional practice that uses raffia to create something meaningful, while not wasting material. We used a variety of raffia colours to create bracelets and anklets. We would love to thank Aunty Chris again for her time spent with us, we are so appreciative of her and to have learned a new skill.

MUSIC ENCORE EXCURSION
Year 10, 11 and 12 music students were lucky enough to attend ENCORE at the Sydney Opera House on Monday 24 February. The students were inspired by the outstanding performances of the top HSC music students from across the state in 2024.

Our very own students, Joshua Stephanidis, Luke Cusack and Alexandra Leerson were formally mentioned in the musicology section, which was a fantastic recognition of their dedication and musical insight.
