LEADER OF LEARNING - YEARS 7 & 8
Using a paper diary might seem old-fashioned, but it remains one of the most effective tools for staying organised and on top of schoolwork. Writing down homework, assessments, and important dates by hand helps students retain information better, reducing the chances of forgetting key tasks. A diary also encourages focus, assisting students to plan their time efficiently and avoid distractions. By developing the habit of recording and reviewing their schedules, students can take control of their workload and reduce last-minute stress.
In weeks 8 - 10, there will be a focus on using the diary in Yr 7 & 8. I have presented the attached information to Year 8 and Year 7 will receive this information in the next week. Please check your son/daughter's diary and have a conversation about the benefits of using the diary.
