YEAR 11 DRIVER SAFETY PROGRAM

Year 11 travelled to University of Wollongong to participate in U Turn the Wheel on Tuesday 23 July. As many of our students gain their Provisional License, this was an excellent program which aimed to educate students of the risks on the road. Thank you to all the presenters.

• Well done to Aroha Spillane and her continued dedication to Rugby Union Development Squad. Aroha recently played for the Under 17s NSW Country Side in the national competition at Narrabeen. The final game came down to NSW City vs NSW Country. Unfortunately the City team coming away with the win.
• Special mention to Beau Buckpitt for his success in making to semi-finals of the NSW Surfing Championships.
• Congratulations to Kalysta Palmer and Hayley Keith who competed in the NSW State Baseball championships. Their Illawarra team earning the Silver medal - a great achievement!
• A special mention to the huge numbers of Year 11 students who gave up the time for the school play. This was an impressive night and the talent, dedication and hard work on display was outstanding!
• Keep an eye out for Hayley Merrick with VPA Studios Dance Troupe who will feature on Australia’s Got Talent on the 4th August!
