Our recent Year 9 Camp at Cataract Activity Centre in Appin was an unforgettable experience! Blessed with beautiful weather, students and staff enjoyed three action-packed days filled with adventure, teamwork, and personal growth.

Upon arrival on Tuesday morning, students quickly settled into their tent or cabin groups before diving into a range of exciting activities. From the teamwork required in the rescue task to the thrill of the giant swing, students demonstrated resilience, confidence, and camaraderie. The water slides provided a refreshing break, while the challenge valley ‘mud’ course tested both physical and mental endurance. The high ropes and flying fox pushed students beyond their comfort zones, and it was inspiring to witness the encouragement and support they showed each other throughout.

Evenings at camp were just as special. We gathered around the campfire to roast marshmallows and sing songs, shared laughs at the entertaining talent show, and concluded our final night with a meaningful liturgy, reflecting on our year group motto: 'Let your light shine'.
