YEAR 12 NEWS
Year 12 have made an outstanding start to the term. They have embraced the challenges presented to them and continue to demonstrate their leadership within the wider school community. Recently, students received their half-yearly reports. In recognition of their efforts, report awards will be announced over the next fortnight, celebrating those who have achieved outstanding results in their first semester of Year 12.
There are several important events coming up for Year 12.
FOUNDATION DAY 2025
Students will soon take part in their final Foundation Day celebrations, an occasion they are eagerly preparing for.
HSC & BEYOND INFORMATION EVENING - TUESDAY 13 MAY
An Information Evening is being held next Tuesday 13 May in the school hall for Year 12 focusing on 'The HSC and Beyond'.
It is expected that all St John's Year 12 students and their parents/carers attend this evening.

POSITIVE UNIFORM RECOGNITION
Once again, Year 12 students have continued to wear their uniform with pride, setting a strong and positive example for the rest of the school community.
As a recognition of this, students are now permitted to wear their Year 12 jerseys on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
BAKE SALE
In the last week of term 1, yr 12 students organised a bake sale and sausage sizzle to raise money for Project Compassion. Over $1500 was raised, and it was great to see students raising awareness for a great cause.
ILLAWARRA CAREERS EXPO
On Wednesday the 7th of May Year 12 were lucky enough to go to the Illawarra Careers Expo in Berkeley. The students had a great day and I know they got some vital information for their futures.
