ST JOHN'S STUDENTS EXCEL!
Commendations to Year 10 students Mikaeli Chapman, Joseph Nelson and Joseph Visser who assisted with the Shoalhaven Readers and Writers Festival fundraiser movie night on Friday. Funds raised are going towards SRWF 2020 school programs.
Joseph V also assisted with the childrens' events on Saturday.

TRIPLE STATE MEDALLIST READY TO TAKE ON AUSTRALIA!
The recent school holidays were a time of achievement for Year 9 student Kirra Dale, competing at the Surf Lifesaving NSW State Championships. Kirra won 1x Silver medal and 2x Bronze medals and will now compete at the upcoming Australian Championships on the Gold Coast in August. Congratulations on these amazing results Kirra! We wish you the best of luck at Nationals!
WILL AND SAM REPRESENT NSWACT IN AFL
Congratulations to Year 11 student Will Maher and former St John's student Sam Stubbs, who represented the NSWACT team in the week long AFL Inclusion carnival against representatives from every state and territory in the country.
The boys had a great week with both Will and Sam adding to the teams scoreline.
Will was awarded the teams Most Improved Player of the series. Congratulations Will and Sam!
SUPERB GOAL KEEPER
Congratulations to Anna Simon (Year 8) on her wonderful performance as Goal Keeper for the NSW Country U14 team, recently playing in the 2019 FFA Youth Nationals tournament in Coffs Harbour.
Anna played 4 of the 6 games (2 x full games / 2 x half games) allowing only 2 goals in throughout the tournament and being an integral part of delivering draws or victories in all games she took part in.
AROHA SELECTED IN RUGBY SEVENS SQUAD
Congratulations to Year 11 student Aroha Spillane on selection as one of thirty players in the University of Canberra women's rugby sevens training squad, ahead of the Aon University Sevens Series, set to kick-off on September 14.
