YEAR 7 - WILL RUNDLE

Congratulations to Will Rundle of Year 7 for being selected in the U15 Boy's NSW Netball team.
Will was chosen from over 50 other boys who trialled and will compete with the team in Queensland in July.
St John's are very proud of Will and his massive achievement!

SHOALHAVEN EXCELLENCE IN VET AWARDS

On Thursday 3rd July “Shoalhaven Workplace Learning” once again held their annual Shoalhaven Excellence in VET Awards, which honours the hard work and dedication that ALL students across the Shoalhaven put into their respective VET Courses and Work Placements.

This year saw the introduction of a new venue, St Georges Basin Country Club where the students attended the formal luncheon and awards ceremony, supported by their families, friends and VET teachers: Mrs Chittick, Mrs Standen, Mr Lopez, and Mr Gibson.

Once again St John's was well represented across all frameworks delivered and each student presented themselves with pride and honour.

I would like to congratulate the following Year 12 nominees who all achieved a Certificate of Excellence in the following courses, based on their outstanding application to all areas of their course, specifically their WorkPlacement:

• Kaitlin Halls- Hospitality
• Sarelle Perkins- Hospitality
• Leilani Bagley- Hospitality
• Noah Hinkley - Construction
• Raj Leitch- Construction
• Claudia Morison- Fitness
• Christian Grasso- Outdoor Recreation

A special mention and acknowledgement also needs to be given to Noah Hinkley and Claudia Morison who successfully achieved outright "VET Student of the Year" in their given framework
