WELCOME TO TERM 3

WEEK 1

On Thursday, 24 July, Year 10 students attended the Next Step NAPS Program at HMAS Creswell and HMAS Albatross. I was fortunate enough to participate with the students while they took part in a variety of activities.

The obstacle course the students were put through was very challenging, they are to be commended on their efforts and persistence to complete the course which showed great determination.

TOUR THE T RUN

On Friday, 25 July, about 20 Defence students and I attended the Tour to T run.

It was a pleasure to be invited to HMAS Albatross for the Tour the T Event — a unique and energising fun run on the runways! Despite the cool conditions, the enthusiasm was sky-high as St John students took on the 8km run or 4km walk with smiles and determination.

Lily Sproule of Year 10 won her age category and came third overall—incredible effort to all the students who attended.
