PRINCIPAL'S REPORT
Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope you all had a restful and rejuvenating break over the student vacation period. Whether you travelled or stayed local, we trust you had the chance to enjoy the stunning part of the world we’re lucky to call home.
STARTING OFF WITH A PURPOSE
This year, we’ve chosen to begin Term 4 a little differently—with our Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences held right at the start of the term. Traditionally scheduled at the end of Term 4, we felt that bringing these important conversations forward would better support our students in setting a positive tone for the weeks ahead.
These conferences are a valuable opportunity for students, families, and staff to reflect on the journey so far: what’s worked well, what challenges have arisen, and how we can work together to finish the year strong. By having these discussions early, we aim to provide our students with a clearer sense of direction and purpose, helping them grow day-by-day and make the most of every learning opportunity.

Parents and carers may remember that in Term 1, we reached out with a survey to capture your thoughts, perspectives, and voices regarding some of the changes we had made around the school and the direction of our learning culture.
The feedback from that survey—completed by 97 families—offered valuable insights. It helped us implement new initiatives and refine existing ones to better support our students, families, and staff. Your input truly made a difference.
Now that we’re in Term 4, we’d love to hear from you again. Gathering your perspectives at this point in the year allows us to reflect on the impact of our efforts and shape our future direction as we look ahead to 2026.
We’re aiming to hear from even more families this time around. Your feedback is essential in helping us move forward in a positive and constructive way. To support an authentic and open response, the survey is anonymous and email addresses will not be collected.
If you haven’t already, if you could please take a few moments to complete the survey and support our collective journey forward, it would be very much appreciated!

HSC EXAMS UNDERWAY
The HSC officially commenced on Thursday 16th October, and we’ve already seen our Year 12 students begin this final chapter with strength and grace. Many have been arriving early, sharing a quiet cup of tea or coffee, and stepping into their exams with the same determination and perseverance that has marked their approach all year.
While we want all of our students to do well, it is important to note that exam results themselves could never fully capture the worth of such a special group of young people. What matters most is the effort, resilience, and growth they’ve shown throughout their journey. We hope that the preparation and countless hours of practice help each student achieve their personal best—because that’s all we could ever ask for.
We’re incredibly proud of them and will continue to support them every step of the way.

YEAR 11 BEGINS THEIR SENIOR JOURNEY
Our Year 11 students have officially commenced their Year 12 courses, marking the beginning of their senior year journey. To celebrate and support this transition, they headed off to their Senior Year 12 Retreat at Stanwell Tops this week.
This retreat is a special time for students to pause, reflect, and begin laying the foundation for the year ahead. Through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and time spent together in a beautiful setting, students will build stronger bonds with one another and set intentions for a purposeful and connected final year of schooling.
We look forward to seeing the growth and leadership that will emerge from this experience.
Warm regards
Principal
