Welcome back to Term 4. I hope everyone is feeling rejuvenated after the school holiday break. This term is an exciting time for staff and students. Year 11 students begin their HSC year and become the new school leaders. They are a wonderful group of young people who I am certain will excel in both areas. I have been impressed by the way they have approached the many key events and programs in recent weeks and we know that the retreat held this week has been an important time to prepare for the year ahead. 

For other students, Term 4 provides the opportunity to respond to the feedback they were given at the parent teacher interviews. Students should take every opportunity to get involved in the many extra-curricular activities here at St John's ensuring that they are contributing to their school community. Student learning and school engagement will be reported on at the end of term to help students monitor their milestones.
