YEAR 9 NEWS
Congratulations to three great achievements from some of our Year 9 superstars!

CALEB COOK: Mountain Bike National MTB festival, Thredbo
SAM COLGATE: Rugby League Illawarra Steelers NRL U/16's squad
KIRRA DALE: Kirra Dale is one of two U17 females selected in the NSW State team to compete at the Australian Lifesaving Championships in Perth in January. She is also a 2019 Lonestar Scholarship holder with the IAS.
Other news is that we have had an enriching time being a part of helping the new Year 7 cohort for 2020 transition to high school. Approximately 50 Year 9 students were trained as Peer Support Leaders to play this important role.
Year 9 Bushcraft have been going on lots of fabulous excursions testing their new canoeing skills.

We have also been very involved in helping prepare for our Indonesian food day. Thanks to all the volunteers who have helped make this day a highlight of our year.
YEAR 9 SPELL OFF
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our Year 9 families a very happy end of year and thank you for supporting me over the last three years. It has been such a privilege being a Year Coordinator and I will certainly miss this job very much. I will be studying next year at UOW completing my Masters of Education. Merry Christmas and I hope 2020 is a spectacular year for you all!
Mrs. Maggie Frawley
