In the last few weeks both Construction and Hospitality classes have been busy gaining real life learning experiences.

CONSTRUCTION

• Construction spent the day paving the Cockatoo Garden at St Michaels in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander area of the school. Thankyou to Mr Chris Hall and Mr Peter Redman for organising and leading this learning experience.

• Yesterday Mr Phil Gould’s Construction class constructed a concrete path from K-Block to the chapel area.

HOSPITALITY

• Hospitality students catered for the staff morning tea last week and staff were very appreciative of  the variety and quality of savoury and sweet foods provided.

• Congratulations to Abby Drinkwalter and Madisson Powick who competed in the Worldskills Commercial Cookery Competition last week. They were responsible for preparing and cooking a 3 course meal for 4 people to industry standards and timeframes.
