REPRESENTATIVE SPORT
A big thankyou to all students, parents, carers and staff who have supported representative sport at St John’s this year! Our school has enjoyed another impressive year of sport, recently acknowledged at the Diocesan Sports Awards where our school placed 4th of 12 Secondary Schools in the Vince Villa Trophy.

A new portal has now launched!
Registrations for NSWCCC 2020 for the following sports are now open via https://csnsw.sport
- SOFTBALL
- INDIVIDUAL TRIATHLON
A reminder that team triathlon entries will be nominated by the school Sports Coordinator at the beginning of Term 1, 2020.
Existing parents who had previously used the old system should have received an email with instructions on how to login to the new portal. See below:

Click on LOGIN, Click on Forgot Password. An email will a link will be sent to you. You must use the email address that was used in the old website.
New Parents
Click on REGISTER and follow the prompts to set up a new account.
Once logged in, you will see in your child’s profile – REGISTER FOR A SPORT.
REP SPORT 2020
Already we are preparing for 2020.
- Open and Under 15 Touch Football squads have been selected after our recent school trials.
- Under 13 team nominations and trials will take place very early in Term 1, 2020.
- Team Triathlon nominations are still open and will be finalised with permission notes at the start of Term 1, 2020.
- Over the summer holidays, nominations for other sports in Term 1 will open and be available to students to access via the rep sport google classroom page.

A reminder to students interested in representative swimming that we will have a new policy starting next year for longer distance events (see details below).
NEW ANNOUNCEMENT: SCHOOL AND DIOCESAN SWIMMING 2020
Interested students will be invited to complete nominations via Google forms for the following Swimming events in 2020:
100m Freestyle (will be swum at the school carnival), 100m Breaststroke, 100m Backstroke, 100m Butterfly & 200m Individual Medley
Only serious and experienced competitors will be encouraged to nominate, as students will need to be willing to compete in these events at the Wollongong Diocesan Swimming event held in early Term 1.
Nominations will open at the start of Term 1, 2020 and will be accessed via the Representative Sports Google Classroom page. These nominations will close 1 week before the school Swimming Carnival.
It will be determined by the Representative Sports Coordinator and the school Swimming Carnival Coordinators closer to the school Swimming Carnival if the above events will be raced on the day of the carnival.
In the instance where these events are not raced at the school carnival, swimming times will be considered. Only current long course times swum since August 2019 and that can be verified on the Swimming NSW Website will be used for consideration.
