Progress Grades
Progress Grades will be available via the student portal after 3.00pm on Friday 15 March. This grade is based on outcomes covered so far this semester. This is not a formal report but a snapshot of where your child is currently sitting in relation to the common grade scale.
Non Submission of Common Task
At St John's students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning. Staff have identified that some students need support getting common tasks in on time. As a school we are now adopting a common approach to non submission of Common Tasks.
If a task is not handed in on time:
- Consequence is given immediately as an assessment withdrawal. Students will be given time to reflect and refine their time management and organisational skills in order for them to become more independent, self motivated learners.
- If required two lunchtime learnings are also given to support the completion of the task.
NOTE: Year 10-12 will receive an N warning for late submission of assessment tasks.
