‘SMART’ GOAL SETTING IN PALS (PASTORAL AND LEARNING SUPPORT)

Year 11 will be revisiting a goal that they value as important for learning growth after having received their reports last week. In extended PALS and then over the next several weeks until the end of term, we will work with our PALS students to create SMART goals centred around learning reflections based on their reports. 

The point for parents in this is, we know this will be effective if a deep conversation can occur between parents and their sons and daughters around a simple and purposeful goal.

JERSEYS

 As part of the year groups movement towards Year 12, the Jersey design has been voted and decided upon.  Well done to the Jersey design committee who brainstormed some initial design ideas with Miss Davis and Mr Vaughan.  All sizing has been determined and the aim is to place the order with the jersey production company as soon as possible.  The jersey will have the students Christian name on the front and have their surname or appropriate derivative of their surname on the back.  These names are being approved by the school executive and if there are any changes that need to be made in line with the school policy, the students will be notified as soon as possible.  A letter detailing timing of payment and costs will be sent home soon.  The cost of the jersey will be around $85.
