Australian National University (ANU)
ANU 2020 applications open 4 March and close 31 May 2019. There is no application fee (unlike UAC applications), you will be required to meet the co-curricular requirements and will apply for admission, guaranteed accommodation and over 200 scholarships all in the one application. School leavers who miss the application deadline can apply through UAC, subject to ANU program availability.
A representative from ANU will be coming to the school on Wednesday 20 March to run an information session during lunchtime. It is very important that interested Year 12 students attend this session to get as much information as possible. Any Year 12 student interested in any university is encouraged to attend this session.

Life Ready
All Year 11 students attend the UOW Shoalhaven campus on Wednesday 20 February to undertake the Life ready program. Students attended workshops covering study and life skills about: note taking, exam preparation, study timetabling, learning styles and information sessions about UPP and early admissions.
Shoalhaven Professional Business Snapshot
Year 11 students, along with students from other local schools, were given the opportunity to attend businesses in the Nowra CBD and experience different workplaces. During these sessions they found out the pathways for getting into these professions, what actually occurs in the day-to-day life of the workers and did enjoyable and relevant hands on problem solving activities. The professions included: architecture, engineering, town planning, chiropractic, physiotherapy, podiatry and exercise physiology.
Year 10 students should look out for this opportunity next year.
