PAT TESTING
At St John’s data informs our learning and teaching. The data is gathered in many ways using a number of tools and is then used to inform the teaching. Over the next few weeks Year 7 - 10 students will be sitting Progressive Achievement Tests (PAT).
ACER’s Progressive Achievement Tests are used in thousands of schools in Australia and around the world. The approach focuses on assessing and monitoring student growth over time and is underpinned by an understanding that students of the same age and in the same year of school can be at very different points in their learning and development.
We use this data to reflect on our current programs and to plan for 2021. Students do not need to prepare for these tests other than to have a charged computer.
