BOYS TOUCH FOOTBALL

On Monday 15 February three St John’s teams represented the school at the Diocese Boys’ Touch Football Gala day. Results were mixed for the teams with the Under 15 Boys teams best performed by coming third overall. If a couple of tight games had gone the other way this result would have improved.

This success was reflected in the DOW 15 Boys representative team selected at the carnival. Congratulations to Henry Parrish on selection with Cooper Barrett and Tyson Walker as shadow players. 

Senior boys had a couple of wins and a draw on the day with the Under 13’s starting slowly to come home strong with 3 wins and a draw.

Thanks to Mr Kyriacou, Mr Ellul and Mr Lopez for their efforts in training and managing the teams on the day.
